Episode 1: The Boy in the Iceberg

Sokka and Katara, two teenage siblings living in the South Pole, discover Aang and his pet flying bison, Appa, trapped in an iceberg. After Katara accidentally frees him, Aang learns that he is the last surviving Airbender. Meanwhile, his unfreezing attracts the attention of the Fire Nation's Zuko.

Sokka and his sister Kya must travel the world to find masters for Aang, who is the Avatar. However, they must evade a critical foe, Prince Zuko of the Fire Nation, who wants to capture Aang.

Welcome to my blog chronicling the experiences of a boy named Ang, otherwise known as the Avatar.

Here I will not only chronicle each adventure but I will let you know a little about each character and possibly even the people responsible for getting the show on the air.

In the U.S., Avatar can be currently found on your local Nickolodean station. The series premiered on February 21, 2005, and has aired through its second season. A third season, "Book 3: Fire," is scheduled to air in 2007.

The series classifies each season as a "book" and each episode as a "chapter."
